Few days ago I have the time for visit the first edition of "Bazar Capital" in the center of my city. I found thousands of creative, good and original things made bye mexican hands <3!. One of the things I fell in love with was the Frida Kahlo case done with "mache" paper, sooooooooooo mexican!. Also, I  take the opportunity to show you my Frida Kahlo diary and my favorite page of it. 

About my clothes: In the same "Bazar Capital" i bought my new "MÍTU" creppers ¿Do you like them?

Hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de ir a la primera edición del "Bazar Capital" que se llevó acabo en el centro de la ciudad de México. Encontre muchísimas cosas muy creativas, originales, buenas, bonitas y baratas, y lo mejor fue que todo era hecho por manos mexicanas <3!. Una de las cosas con las cuales no pude evitar enamorarme y comprar fue el estuche de Frida Kahlo hecho con papel picado, definitivamente muuuuy mexicano!. De paso aprovecho la tematica del post para mostrarles mi diario de Frida Kahlo el cuál compré hace unos años en la Casa Azul. 

Acerca de mi ropa: En el mismo bazar, compré mis nuevos zapatos/creppers de "MÍTU CALZADO" (unos más para la colección jaja) ¿les gustan? 

Tea party time

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to go with my boyfriend to a tea shop that is located in the Roma neighborhood, right in front of "Casa Lamm". It was the first time going and I fell in love with the place. Fortunately there were few people and we were able to take some pictures without anybody seeing us :P.

I think it's the last time I wear this beautiful blue dress that I bought two years ago in New York, because for reasons beyond my understanding I feel the dress more small, so I decided to take him out one last time and show it on the blog.

Hace unos días, tuve la oportunidad de ir con mi novio a una tienda de té que esta ubicada en la colonia Roma, en contra esquina de "Casa Lamm". Era la primera vez que íbamos y quedé enamorada con el lugar. Por fortuna había poca gente y pudimos tomar algunas fotos sin que nadie se nos quedara viendo extraño.

Creo que es la última vez que me pongo ese hermosos vestido azul que compré hace dos años en Nueva York, ya que por razones ajenas a mi entendimiento ya no me queda tan bien como antes (igual y en las fotos no se percibe, pero yo ya lo siento ajustado) así que decidi sacarlo a pasear por última vez y de paso mostrarlo en el blog. 

Totoro could be fashion

In this outfit i'm using my new Totoro t-shirt, yes that cute monster of studios Ghilbi is one of my favorite characters in all the world. I combined my new t-shirt with my new MÍTU shoes (a mexican handmade brand) ¿lovely or not? :P.

In other topics: in these past days i saw a lot of bloggers using this new overall trend, i have one and i want to try used it, but i don't no if i can't adapted to my personal style ¿what do you think about this new trend?

En este outfit estoy usando mi nueva playera de Totoro, y efectivamente ese monstruo peludo y gordito de estudios Ghilbi es uno d emis personajes favoritos en todo el mundo. Combiné la playera con mis nuevos zapatitos de MÍTU calzado (una marca mexicana de zapatos hechos a mano) ¿les gusta o no? :)

Hablando de otras cosas: Esta semana he visto una explosión por usar overoles en casi todos los blogs de moda. Yo tengo uno que tenía por ahí guardado en  algun rincon oculto de mi closet, pero sinceramente no se si sea mi estilo, voy a hacer algunos experimentos y a ver que tal, ¿qué opinas sobre la tendencia recian revivida de los overoles? 

Black in summer

A relax outfit for a really hot summer day!, and when i said hot i'm not joking, beacuse when I came out only 20 min.  for taking the photos, my feets began to burn.

Un outfit relajado para ir a la universidad en un día demasiado caluroso, y es quee nserio no exagero, porque cuando salí a tomar las fotos (que me tarde no más de 20 min.) las plantas de mis pies me ardían debido a lo caliente que estaba el suelo :S!

TWIST: FORMAL TO INFORMAL LOOK!

El atuendo "formal" lo usé para ir a hacer unas encuestas a un despacho de abogados (estoy en mi semestre de comunicación organizacional, así que me tocó hacer algo de trabajo de campo), y el informal lo usé ese mismo día para salir con mi novio. Es sorprendente como cambiando sólo algunos elementos, en este caso la falda y el clutch por una bolsa, puedes lograr que tu look tenga una intención totalemnte diferente y así sacarle mucho más provecho a tu ropa. ¿Qué look les gusta más? 

P.D. En este momento me encentro haciendo mi servicio social, por lo todavía que puedo ir a "trabajar"  casual, pero si llego a entrar a alguna empresa o lugar donde me exijan ir  formal diario, me daré un tiro jajaja. Supongo que el reto esta en pensarle un poco más a tus looks para lograr algo que se vea original sin perder la formalidad :).

I used the formal outfit  to go to do some surveys in a law firm (I'm in my semester of organizational communication, so I had to do some field work), and I used the casual outfit that same day to go out with my boyfriend. It's amazing how changing just a few elements, in this case the skirt and the clutch for a bag, you can make your look has a totally different intention and  get much juicy of your clothes. ¿What is your favorite look?

P. D. At this moment I am doing my internship, so I can still go to "work" casual, but if I enter a company or some place that I need to go formally, I going to get crazy :S. I guess the challenge is think in original looks without losing the formality.

La Gran Calavera

Enserio que amo esta sudadera, es cómoda calientita y siento que le da un toque muy interesante a los looks en donde la integro. Y me encantó como se ve con el cuello de puntas metalicas :). ¿Les gusta la combinación? 

Mítu en mis pies :)

Hace casi un año descubrí la marca de zapatos hechos por manitas mexicanas llamada "Mítu calzado". Desde el primer momento me enamore de los modelos, pero por alguna razón u otra siempre terminaba postergando el día en que iba a adquirir mi primer par. Busqué la marca en FB le di like y un día vi que decía "JUEVES FREE SHIPPING", enloquecí y me compre mis primeros dos pares <3 (el  otro par lo veran en otro post ;) ). Tardaron una semana en llegar, y en cuanto los vi por primera vez me los puse y salí a tomarme fotos. Encontré un lugar a un lado del parque España en la colonia Condesa, que según yo, combina con mis zapatos. ¿Les gustan? :)!

Almost a year ago I discovered the brand of  Mexican shoes  called "Mítu Calzado". From the first moment I fell in love with the models, but for some reason or another I always ended put off the day I was going to buy my first pair. Then I search "Mítu" on Facebook and I gave a  "like" to the page. One day I saw that said in the "Mítu" page said: "FREE SHIPPING THURSDAY" so I went crazy and bought my first two pairs <3 (the other pair we will see in another post;)) took an week to arrive, and as soon as I first saw me put them on and went out to take pictures. I found a place on the side of Spain Park in Colonia Condesa. Do you like my new shoes? :)!

The MAXI SKIRT story

Tengo una confesión que hacerles respecto a las maxi faldas: nunca había usado una. La verdad les tenía algo de miedo, ya que pensaba que era para chavas que miden 2 km. de altura y que a mi con mis cortos 1.61 cm se me vería algo ridícula. Pero un día que estaba "nada mas viendo" ropa en Zara, vi esta falda y me enamore de la textura y el color (y sobre todo del precio, me costo 350 pesos a diferencia de los 950 que costaba una similar en American Apparel). Ya no tenía pretexto y me la probé... quede enamorada de ella y termine por comprarla. Este es el primer look con la que la combino, pero ya tengo ganas de hacerlo en un look más informal y con sandalias.

I have a confession to make about the maxi skirt: never used one. Actually I was a little scared, because I thought it was for girls who measure 2 km. tall and short at me with my 1.61 cm I would see something ridiculous. But one day I was "just watching" clothes at Zara, I saw this skirt and I fell in love with the texture and color and especially the price (only cost me 350 pesos opposed to the 950 that cost in American Apparel) . I no longer had excuse and I tried it ... and finally i fall in love with her ​​and  I buying it. This is the first look to the combine, but I have wanted to do it in a more casual look with sandals.

Fortunately the day was sunny and I could wear my flower shorts (I promise to do a remix with all cominaciones I've done with them) and a comfortable converses.

Por fortuna ese día estuvo soleado y pude vestir mis ya tan usados shorts floreados (prometo hacer un remix con todas las cominaciones que he hecho con ellos) y unos comodos Converses.

Pues aquí les dejo algunas fotos de lo que fue mi primer proyecto para mi clase de Diseño editorial, en el cúal teníamos que crear el concepto de una banda (obviamente ficticia) y con eso hacer desde el poster, hasta el cd y sus interiores. Este proyecto esta basado casi en su totalidad en el libro y la película de "Las Virgines Suicidas", con el cuál tengo una ligera obsesión.
